Hello! I am a Registered Clinical Social Worker. I hold a Masters of Social Work from Dalhousie University and have over 20 years of experience working with adults and youth in a variety of settings.
I am an experienced addictions counsellor and mental health therapist. I have worked in adult inpatient and outpatient settings, community based programs as well as educational settings. I am passionate about helping both the individual struggling with substances as well as the family and friends who create the web of support around them.
I believe that all individuals, couples and families are capable of overcoming hardship and creating lasting change. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space that allows others to feel secure enough to express themselves fully.
I have a broad range of clinical experience in the following areas: anxiety, depression, loss & grief, anger and stress management, substance use, trauma, complex family systems, relationship issues, self image and self esteem.
I work from a person-centered, strengths based approach. Your time is valuable, therefore I take care with each session to make sure that you are spending the time talking about what is important to you, and provide hands on strategies to cope with problems as they arise, in pursuit of your goals.
I have experience in a variety of counselling modalities. Treatment plans will be tailored to aid you in accomplishing the goals you set.

Sometimes life feels heavier than it should. You might be doing all the “right” things, but still feel disconnected, anxious, or unsure of where to start. I believe therapy can be a soft place to land, a space to slow down, untangle your thoughts, and begin to find your way back to yourself.
I work with people from all walks of life, including new and expecting parents, those navigating change, or anyone feeling lost in the noise of everyday life. Together, we’ll explore the patterns and stories that have shaped you and create space for something new to emerge. I bring warmth, curiosity, and calm presence to my sessions. My hope is that you leave feeling a little more grounded, steady, and at home in your own life.
I hold a Bachelor of Social Work through the University of Calgary and am currently completing my Master of Social Work through Wilfrid Laurier University. My work is grounded in a blend of evidence-based and compassionate approaches. I’ve completed training in DBT and Mindfulness (dual certification), CBT, ACT, and Attachment-Based therapy. These perspectives allow me to meet clients where they are, with empathy, practical tools, and a deep respect for their individual journey through change, healing, and growth. I’m completing my certification in Perinatal Mental Health through Canadian Perinatal Mental Health Trainings and registered with the Alberta College of Social Workers. I offer in-person session in Grande Prairie, and virtual sessions across Alberta, providing a supportive environment where you can feel heard, understood, and at ease.
